Join us in exploring the sculpture art of Alberto Giacometti. We will focus on his well known minimalist figures. Giacometti once said that he was sculpting not the human figure but “the shadow that is cast”. His work dealt with the fear and loneliness that was prevalent in the 1940s and the Cold War. We will draw and sculpt in his simplistic yet emotionally complex style.
