Participants will dive into the world of fabrication art at The Walter Hive’s maker-space with our exhilarating Intro to Welding workshop on May 21st!
Led by Shannon Thompson, a talented professional welder, this hands-on experience is tailored for ages 13 and up, offering an exciting opportunity for both teens and adults to explore the art of welding.
In this dynamic session, beginner welders will learn the basics of MIG welding, unlocking their creative potential as they fabricate their very own metal sculpture. Safety is a top priority, and Shannon will guide participants through each step to ensure a secure and rewarding experience.
But that’s not all! While waiting for their turn at the welding station, attendees will unleash their artistic flair by creating stylish fabric flower pens—a perfect complement to a metalwork masterpiece.
