DESCRIPTION:Come by and take a look at the art for sale in the Walter Art Gallery. This month we have: \n“Prismatic Prospects”\nArt by William Barnhar\nWilliam Barnhart is a local artist whose work has shown internationally. His background is in classical figure study\, and his interpretation of this tradition is modern\, emotive\, and demonstrates his keen observations of humans and our society. Barnhart says\, “My artwork is an exploration of the drama\, the emotional complexities\, and the mental and spiritual realities of this human experience.”  His colorful\, fractured-style paintings are created with bold\, confidence and yet communicate subtle nuances of love\, joy\, pain\, passion\, kindness\, and hope. The faces and postures of his figures are extraordinarily expressive\, and his intense colors are dazzling. \n“Prismatic Prospects” opens April 18 with a reception from 6:30 to 9pm.
