This event harmoniously blends gentle somatic movement\, guided meditation\, and live therapeutic sound to promote holistic well-being. \nUnderstanding “Soma & Sound”: \n\n\nSoma: Derived from ancient Greek\, “soma” means “body.” Our gentle somatic movements focus on releasing stress and tension stored within the body\, fostering a profound sense of physical awareness and relaxation. \n\n\nSound: Utilizing live instruments such as the handpan\, mallet harp\, crystal singing bowls\, symphonic gong\, flutes\, and koshi chimes\, Jennifer and her husband create therapeutic soundscapes designed to resonate with your body’s natural frequencies. \n\n\nWhat to Expect: \n\n\nSomatic Movement: Begin with gentle movements aimed at unwinding stress and tension\, enhancing bodily awareness\, and promoting relaxation. \n\n\nGuided Meditation: Transition into a guided meditation designed to lead you into a state of non-sleep deep rest (NSDR)\, also known as yoga nidra.
