SUMMARY:Clay Luminaries: Ceramics Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join The Walter Hive in their maker-space for a ceramics workshop! Learn the therapeutic benefits of working with clay and create a luminary using raw red clay with holes/spaces for light to shine through. No experience is necessary and instruction and materials will be provided. This class is for ages 11 and up. \n*Note – in this workshop you will create the piece and leave it at Walter Hive to dry and be fired. No glaze will be applied to showcase the beauty of the red clay. Artwork will be available for pick up after October 26th. \nFor safety\, please bring closed toe shoes\, an wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. \nClick Here for Tickets

SUMMARY:Make a Ceramic Bowl (or Two) with Fresh Botanicals
DESCRIPTION:Join The Walter Hive in their maker-space for a ceramics workshop! Learn about the therapeutic benefits of working with clay and create a ceramic bowl made from fresh botanicals – such as a cabbage leaf. No experience is necessary and instruction and materials will be provided. This class is for ages 11 and up. \n*Note – in this workshop you will work with raw clay to create your piece and leave it at Walter Hive to be fired in our kiln.  A green glaze will then be applied by us and then fired again.  You will be able to pick up your artwork after October 16th. \nFor safety\, please bring closed toe shoes\, an wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. \nClick Here for Tickets
