Blind Foundation Workshop

We recently collaborated with the Foundation for Blind Children @seeitourway for a one day workshop with their Teens to Work and College Prep Program.  These brave individuals spend 6 weeks on the campus of Arizona State University and learn independence, job skills, college readiness and are placed in the work force for 4 weeks of the program.

During the workshop, we explored clay, contour drawing and wood working which included hammering nails, adding LED lights and string art!  All of our new friends created projects which they felt great about.  At the end of the day, everyone shared their work with one another and with empowerment!  Some brought along their furry friends too...
