Cancer Support Community Kids Kamp
The Walter Hive staff led creative expression workshops with woodworking boxes, LED paper cards, talking sticks and intention messages on metal the last week of June for the Kids Support Kamp at the Cancer Support Community. The campers all have been impacted by cancer either as a patient or someone within their immediate family. The Kids Kamp is designed to provide them coping skills to manage the emotional impact of cancer on their families. We kept them busy with learning new projects and learning that they can make their own world with creativity. All of their stories are individual and meaningful. We were honored to be a part of Kids Kamp!
